Ally Claw User Guide

Written by Alex

Overview

Ally Claw (AllyClaw) is your AI marketing partner powered by OpenClaw. It provisions a dedicated AllyClaw workspace for your team and lets you chat with it directly to diagnose performance changes and get profit-first action recommendations.

This guide focuses on the customer-facing Ally Claw experience inside ecom-attribuly-v3:

  • Ally Claw status page: /ally-claw

  • AllyClaw Chat page: /ally-claw/chat

Before You Start

Make sure the following conditions are met:

  1. Your workspace is on a Pro or Enterprise plan.

  2. Your team has access to the Ally Claw page in the left navigation.

  3. You have enough credits for conversations (chats consume credits).

If your plan does not include AllyClaw, you will see an Upgrade Required message and a button that takes you to Billing.

How To Access Ally Claw

  1. Open the app.

  2. In the left-side navigation, click Ally Claw.

  3. The Ally Claw page opens and shows the current status of your AllyClaw workspace.

If your workspace is already ready, the system may automatically open the chat page for you.

What You See On The Ally Claw Page

The Ally Claw page is designed to answer two questions:

  • Has your AllyClaw workspace been opened?

  • Can you start chat right now?

Current Status

You will see a status badge and description. Common states include:

  • Not created: no AllyClaw machine exists for your org yet.

  • Creating: the machine is being provisioned.

  • Syncing: the system is refreshing the machine status.

  • Ready: the machine is available.

  • Blocked: the machine exists but is not usable yet.

  • Multiple Claws detected: more than one machine record exists for this org (contact support to clean up).

Workspace Setup

This area shows whether required setup has completed for your AllyClaw workspace:

  • Loaded / Setup complete means the workspace looks ready.

  • Missing / Setup incomplete means required setup is not in place yet (try refreshing).

  • Unavailable / Waiting means the machine is still provisioning.

Chat Access

This area shows whether chat can be opened without exposing any connection details:

  • Ready means you can enter chat.

  • Loading means the system is checking chat readiness.

  • Error means chat entry could not be derived.

  • Unavailable / Waiting means the workspace is not ready yet.

Hot Topics (Top 10)

The page may also show Hot Topics (common marketing analysis questions). You can:

  • Copy prompt to reuse it elsewhere

  • Use in chat to send it into AllyClaw Chat immediately

Activate Your AllyClaw Workspace

If you see Not created, you can create a workspace:

  1. Click Create Claw.

  2. Wait while the system provisions your machine (this can take a few minutes).

  3. The page will refresh status automatically. You can also click Refresh status.

While provisioning is in progress, the status may show Creating or Syncing.

Enter Chat

When both of the following are true:

  • Claw status is Opened / Ready

  • Chat access is Ready

Click Enter chat to open /ally-claw/chat.

Using AllyClaw Chat

Basic Chat Flow

  2. Click Send.

  3. AllyClaw streams the response in real time.

  4. Click Stop if you want to stop generation.

Built-in Prompt Shortcuts

The chat page includes quick prompts such as:

  • “How did we do last week?”

  • “How did we do yesterday?”

  • “Run funnel analysis”

  • “Analyze landing page performance”

Use these when you want fast starting points for common analyses.

Exit Chat

Click Exit chat to disconnect and return to the Ally Claw status page.

Return Claw (Remove The Workspace)

If you no longer need the AllyClaw workspace, you can return it:

  1. Open /ally-claw.

  2. Click Return Claw.

  3. Confirm the prompt.

This will submit a termination request and remove the machine record from your workspace. You will need to create a new Claw before you can chat again.

Troubleshooting

“Upgrade Required”

Your plan does not include AllyClaw. Upgrade to Pro or Enterprise in Billing.

Chat Is Unavailable / Failed To Connect

Try the following:

  1. Go back to /ally-claw and click Refresh status.

  2. Reopen chat using Enter chat.

  3. If you see Authentication failed, reopen Ally Claw and retry.

“Multiple Claws detected”

Your org has more than one AllyClaw machine record. Contact support and include your org/team details so the extra records can be cleaned up.

Setup Shows “Missing / Setup incomplete”

This usually means provisioning is not fully finished or the machine’s setup is still being applied.

  1. Wait briefly.

  2. Click Refresh status.

  3. If it stays missing for an extended period, contact support.

FAQ

Does AllyClaw expose connection details or tokens to users?

No. The status page only shows whether chat can be opened. Connection details are handled by the system when you enter chat.

Why does it stay in “Creating” or “Syncing” for a while?

The system is provisioning and validating your AllyClaw machine. It can take a few minutes depending on infrastructure load.

Will chat consume credits?

Yes. Conversations consume existing credits.
