?de=*|EMAIL|*&dm_net=email&utm_source=mailchimp&utm_medium=email
Omnisend: utm_medium=email&utm_source=omnisend
For other email service providers
lease make sure any link in your email contains"utm_source="your-ESP-name"&utm_medium=email"
4. Affiliate networks
Impact
You can collect information about your ad campaigns by adding campaign parameters to the destination URLs you use. In this way, you can track your campaign across different social media apps.
When a user clicks a referral link, the parameters you've added are sent to Attribuly.
From the left navigation bar, select [Menu] → Settings.
On the right, under Tracking, select Gateway.
Select the [Edit] button to edit your Gateway Tracking Settings.
Add any UTM parameters that need to be automatically appended to your partner links. See the Parameters reference and template macros below to see which parameters to use.
utm_source=Impact&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign={your_macro}
Select Save.
Related resource of Impact:
UpPromote
It's easy, go to Setting-Set up UTM setting, and add UTM variables :
campaign source=UpPromote
campaign medium=affiliate
campaign name={affiliate_name} or {program_name}
Attribuly will capture the above information into attribution.
In Attrbuly, select the dimension of " campaign and source" to know exactly how UpPromte's affiliate drives conversions to your store.
ShareAsale and Awin
They do not provide affiliate links directly to your website by default, but provide links like this: https://shareasale-analytics.com/r.cfm?u=178&b=2094838&m=128327
When users click this link, they will be redirected to your website, but these parameters cannot be recognized as an affiliate traffic.
Now you can create custom links for all your affiliates and add custom parameters. Please refer to the following links and parameters:
Add utms:
utm_source = shareasale/awin
utm_campaign = your_campaign_name
utm_medium = affiliate
When referral contains "shareasale" or "awin", Attribuly will determine its source as Affiliate. Finally, Attribuly is gradually implementing API integration with various alliance platforms to achieve accurate conversion tracking.
Rakuten
Just add the following parameters to the end of your landing page:
utm_source = rakuten
utm_campaign = your_campaign_name
utm_medium = affiliate
Other affiliate software
Step1:
Please check if your software supports custom UTM parameters, make sure you at least append below parameters:
utm_source={your_software_name}
utm_medium=affiliate
utm_campaign={affiliate_name} or {program_name}
Step 2:
Then you can categorize by the above parameters, in Attribution all page-dimensions. Or view every single conversion journey and the ROAS.
If your software doesn't support custom UTM parameters, you can simply search the URL to track the performance at Attribution-all.
5. Influencers
We put 3 UTMs attached to the destination link, please use Influencer directly to create a trackable link for every campaign and get the performance.
6. Social media, guest blogs
Use Link builder to generate short links for your social media posts and external blogs; in all cases, you need to paste your store's link.
7. View real-time interactions
"Live Events" shows immediately when you upgrade your tracking. You know exactly each visitor's source.
FAQ
Is your data collection GDPR compliant?
In markets configured to require consent (usually the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom), web pixels run only when visitors have provided the permissions required in the pixel configuration. By default, new pixels require Marketing and Analytics permissions.
Similarly, pixels configured as data sale won't run for customers that have opted out of data sales or sharing, unless the pixel supports limited data use.
